280zxt vs. Integra GSR

Who do you think whould win in a race a 280zx turbo or a Integra GSR. The 280 is stock but the integra has only headers a cam and a cold air intake.

The question you ask is so full of varibles it's very hard to say, but by printed matter a turbo 280 z goes [email protected] sec. and the Integra GSR does [email protected] sec. so the only way you or me well ever know is by you taking your car out and finding out then posting the results.

Re: 280zxt vs. Integra GSR

Just to note, the older GSR are a bit faster than the last gen.

Re: 280zxt vs. Integra GSR

i'm guessing it's a gen 3 gsr... they're around 170ish hp (i think... little rusty on my honda stuff) at around 2400? lbs... and i really honestly can't remember the stock quarters on them.. but they're quick... you've got about 5 more hp and 70 extra ft lbs but an extra 200 or so lbs. so i'd say it'd be a drivers race

Re: 280zxt vs. Integra GSR

the best advice i can give you is DO NOT RACE..... racing for slips is downright stupid... it should be kept to places like movies.. and dreams.. your best bet would be nitrous or a boost controller to up the boost... and be SURE to check his car for nitrous

If your thinking about running for slips you better think on line alittle more serious than removing some weight.
Were back to that research thing again. Find out who's he's run and how he did, and how you compare to them. But make sure you know under no uncertian terms you'll win. Nitrous, boost controler whatever it takes. In street racing, all's fair.
Two things you never,NEVER do in life is, #1 never take a knife to a gun fight, #2 never underestimate your advasory.

yeah thats not smart. dont race for slips. thats just some fast and the furious bullshit. if your gonna race, do it for fun or a little but of money. not slips.

but yeah anyways, enough of my little lecture. the manual boost controller is a good idea because he probably wont know what it is if he even sees it. also, throw some racing fuel in there. and just crank the boost up.
