comp cam any good?

i just ordered a zex comp cam for my d16y8 single cam motor i was curious if anyone has used this cam before... if so did you feel any power difference from the stock camshaft?

cause i recently installed a obx camshaft and it sucks ass feels a little slower then stock

to really get the full benefit from a cam, a new valvetrain should be installed and at least some type of tuning done to maximize the power levels that the new cam makes.

ok but can someone who's used a comp cam in there single cam motor please get at me with some information

i was told this camshaft is one of the best for the single cam vtecs ....

ok got the comp stage 2 camshaft installed.... my car doesnt feel much different from the STOCK CAM.... any ideas

so i need a fuel pressure regulator and a vafc controller and get on a dyno to get it TUNED?

before it will perform at its PEAK HORSEPOWER

Yes, honda motors operate on a preset fuel and ignition map, when you change something that affects the air and fuel then you are gonig to need to re-map the ecu, or tune it as most people say. The only way to do this is either witha V-AFC, or hondata etc and a dyno with a wideband O2 sensor.
