Underbody Lights e30?

I have a 85' bmw 318i 4 door, black. Paints in good condition and all that. I got some lights 2 side and 1 front, off a friend of mine and was wondering if anyone has done underbody lights on the old school 318i's? The car is stock except for wheels and a sound system. I don't have a body kit so I have no plastic to screw into. Additionaly if anyone has done the wiring for this, or knows the best place to run the wires let me know.

Re: Underbody Lights e30?

well smart thing to do is find a place and screw them in. Below the bumper or in the grille. For the swiotch you have to run a main power wire (you can find one in your glove box, second your need to run a ground. And if you want to turn them on and off instead of turning the main lights on and off then your will need to run an accessory wire. And your need a switch to turn them on.
