fuel pump fuse

Hello I have a 94 jummy with the 4.3 vortech and the fuel pump will not come on when the key is turned on.The book I have says that there is a fuse in the engine compartment but I cant find one.Is there a fuse for this or what steps should I take before pulling the gas tank..Thanks Joe

Ihave 93 Gmc Jimmy Engine Turns But Wont Start No Fuel Pump Sound Either
