Differences between SC, SL, and SW ?

Can someone tell me how to tell if a saturn is SL or SC or SW?

I work in a smog business and it's been a constant struggle for me to determine if the car I'm writing up is SL, SC or SW... Thanks very much!!

Re: Differences between SC, SL, and SW ?

SC, SC1, and SC2 are two or three door coupes

SL, SL1, and SL2 are 4 door sedans

SW1, and SW2 are 4 door wagons

SC, SC2, SL2 and SW2 have the DOHC engine vin 7

SL, SL1, SC1, SW1 have the SOHC engine vin 9 for 91-94, vin 8 for 95-02.

if you want, i can go into more detail about little differences in the body for each model and year

If you have time for the more detail then that would be very cool, but know that you've just answered my question, very valuable information indeed. Thank you very very much!!! This is a great place and you sir/madam are very well informed and very helpful (I've read some of your posts from other threads),..thanks again!
