Tie Rod End?? Perhaps?
Ok...I'll try and explain this...
When I make a sharp turn to the right and then come back to center...just as I get to center I hear/feel a muffled "clunk" on my driver's side front. Then it's gone...a friend said that my tie-rod end is going...is this the case? Opinions? Jason |

Re: Tie Rod End?? Perhaps?
I'd check your rack and pinion bolts also, mine were loose once.

heh, if only it were as simple as something loose that slides around when you make a sharp corner.

Re: Tie Rod End?? Perhaps?
Jason that could be a number of things. Lift and support the left front corner, weight off tire. Then grab top/bottom of tire and shake, do the same thing in all direction. If you duplicate the noise look closely at outer tie rod end, lower ball joint, upper ball joint, upper strut mount, control arm bushings(upper/lower)
