Question Ka Turbo problems

I have a rev hard turbo manifold and a tdo6 turbo. I got the turbo to fit on the manifold because it's originally for the t3 turbo. My problem is that the turbo is to big and won't fit the under the brake master cylinder. Please help, I would like to have this thing running as soon as possible. I also have to put in the intercooler. I will also need oil lines for the turbo. Please let me know what or how I can get this done. Please Please Need Help!!!!

Re: Ka Turbo problems

I rather not go and get another manifold. It would be a major waste of money. I need the clearance and I guess the machine shop that will take care of this for me. This truly sucks. There has to be a way of fixing this. Please if someone knows anything about moving the brake master cylinder or making the booster smaller or anything to give me this clearance that would be awsome. The rev hard manifold is cast iron and I would like this because I will eventually push more power out of it.I don't know how the ETD one will handle it.

Re: Ka Turbo problems

It isn't an on-center is it? Revhard manifolds pretty much require an on-center turbine housing.
www.cheapturbo.com will have one. Just call them. They aren't a lot of help through emails but are great on the phone. Good luck.

Re: Ka Turbo problems

It is a on-center turbine housing. It won't fit cause it's to big...if it was 3mm lower from were it's at it would fit. I'm thinking about just beening the brake cylinder.

Re: Ka Turbo problems

Do you have ABS? I have heard of problems with ABS not working. If you don't have ABS then I don't know what to tell you. I fit a .96ar turbine housing on a T04B in the engine bay. No problems whatsoever.

Oil lines:
http://import-autoperformance.com/manifolds_access.html
http://boostdesigns.com/otherproducts.htm
http://store.240sxmotoring.com/oilfeedlinekit.html (this one requires a return line 1/2" or bigger.)

You could call www.phatka-t.com I'm sure you could get a set from them.

Good luck.
