Starting Problems & Traction Question
I have a 92 Jimmy Vin W 4WD. In the morning it starts right up and there is no problem. If I let it sit for more than a 1/2 hour it gives me trouble starting and won't start unless I hold the gas pedal down. The vehicle runs good and idles consistently at 750 RPM. I don't smell gas in the oil or the vehicle.
Also, we had the first snow since I bought the Jimmy and I didn't have the 4WD drive on and I had very poor traction (the wheels spun quite a bit). The tires have about 15k on them so they are still good. I think the rear shocks are shot would that cause poor traction? |
