Dear BMW World Forum:


First: It has been great being a member here of this great forum since May 2004. I also want to make it clear I had no idea why I had been banned! All I knew was I found myself banned one Saturday 11-6-04 at 13:00hrs, (I found an email warning notification when I returned here yesterday that was dated 11-7-04), but until yesterday, I could not figure out what had transpired causing my banning. Because I never received any warnings from Forum Administration or mediators that I was doing anything wrong and banned for two weeks until I came back here after two weeks.

. . . You know I live in our wonderful country the United States of America, where a citizen is Innocent until proven guilty. At any rate, the BMW World Administration has its reasons for banning me for two weeks, (I just wish I would have gotten warned before I was banned), and like everyone else does, I will obey their Forum rules as long as I am here.

Second: I want to thank my friend "Jeffreyb4me" in going to my defense with his posting to the forum asking why was I, Presley348 banned? He got the answer why from forum administration and I appreciated it.

Third: In conclusion I am Semi retired, a Volunteer with the state of GA, while working on my graduate degree (MBA) at Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia, I am not a salesmen of any type, nor do I receive any type of commission for my postings here at the forum. I came here to the BMW forum to share my true www findings in my postings with BMW World forum members, and in return I gain their knowledge about issues i.e. 18inch wheel and tire upgrades that I faced as an E60 530i owner.

(By the way I did purchase my new 18inch Parallel M wheels and tires last week and got Pictures to show the forum for the ones interested, but I don't know if I should post ce: BMW Replica Wheels or any BMW Wheel in fear of getting banned again)

I just joined the forum site today and thought I'd respond to an active (and activist?) member such as Presley348. I have enjoyed reading the comments of fellow 530i owners. I have one the original 530i's shipped to each dealer to kick-off the new model in October 2004. Mine is the silver gray automatic nicely equipped. This is my first BMW and am enjoying it!! My only negative comment is that BMW has gone past the limit on reminding (or warning?) me to put on my seat belt. I do believe in seat belt use, but not every time I get in the car. I have asked BMW service to adjust the warning chime timer, but they say that they cannot. Since when does an auto manufacturer create laws and dictate my freedom of choice?
