D1NZ Round 6

So I'm bending the rules a bit since this is in the photography forum, but hey, this is the drifting forum innit?

Okay, Saturday was the final round of D1NZ. Headed up at 5:30am, was there at 7:30am, and got snapping. You all know how it works now so I'll just cut to the pics. I skipped a few cars since you've all seen what they look like in the round 5 thread.

Dion Yandle (D1NZ bossman's own FC)

My workmate's Soarer...was a twin turbo 1JZ, but he made up his own turbo and manifold and converted it to single spinner, and droppped an MA70 gearbox in it. Awesome.

4AGE turbo AE85.

A new addition to the WSR fleet.

Sean Falconer's S13.

Victor Chapman's Sileighty. Was running...strangely...that day.

Justin Rood's A31 in new warpaint.

RB25 180SX ex hillclimb car.

Karl Skewes AA60 Carina.

RB26 powered HNR32 - would suffer catastrophic failure when the FPR hose blew off, starting a cascade of problems (leaning out, piston melting etc according to the mechanic) and the main seal being blown out and oil pissed everywhere.

Dayna Jury's RB26 powered A31, the same primered thing as at round 5. Ended up cooking a coil and battling on 5 cylinders (came 4th).

RB20 Onevia

Cefiro front...

Skyline rear....Cefline!

SR20 180SX driven by Johnny Udy

SR20 Silvia driven by Reece McBreen

Takenh during qualifying..did anyone tell Justin they're not battling?

Sunday drive

Then the battles started...

First up was Victor Chapman against the jungle Camo R32...the Skyline spun collecting Victor..end result, Victor had a dent in his door, and the Skyline was pharked:

Reece McBreen would win, with Justin Rood coming 2nd and Hayden Ferguson coming 3rd. Justin won the championship.

Round 5
