exhaust

can i get an muffler to put over my stock exhaust muffler basically for sound thanks i mean will can i put it on with out welding it could there some kind of bolt on and where could i get it thanks?.....

cut off the stock muffler and weld a magnaflow muffler on to the piping. you can get one from www.roadraceengineering.com. my muffler is en route and i can't wait to put it on.

no you cannot just bolt a muffler on. it has to be welded. if you get under the back of your car and look at your stock muffler, you would see that there are no bolts for you to unbolt. therefore you would have to weld on a new muffler

how would you weld it tack weld and when you cut off the muffler can is that right ? ..

you don't have to weld it on, you can clamp it on with U-bolt exhaust clamps.

use a torch or a saw. or to save you time go down to a local mufler shop and have them do a good quality job. have them weld it on and be done with it. also have them put a nice tip on it as well. dont get one of those Vauto Zone bolt on's! Remember quality over quantity, and Function before Form!!!!!
