Wipers - single sweep gets jammed
On my 2003 Ford Focus the single sweep (ie when you just push the control stalk down) doesn't work. The wipers start moving and then just get stuck mid way. I have to then switch to another mode to get it moving again.
The garage have had two trys at fixing it including replacing the wiper motor and control stalk with no luck. Has anyone else had this problem? |

Re: Wipers - single sweep gets jammed
The only other part of the wiper system that comes to mind is the actual wiper mechanism that moves the blades...short of some type of wiring problem, that's the only part left in the system that I can think of.

Re: Wipers - single sweep gets jammed
well on my car the thing that you push in to make the wipers go is the fluid one and if you push it too quickly they will stop at a few inches is that what your doing?

Re: Wipers - single sweep gets jammed
Try the intermittent wiper relay...Ford released an updated part because of this problem. My '02 SVT does the exact same thing (but haven't bought a new relay yet)
