71 Chevelle Headers

i just got a 71 chevelle. The engine is still a stock 350. What brand of headers would be good for it? im new at all this and i just wanted some help. Thnx.

For a bone-stock or real mild engine, you can use almost any of the popular brands. Hooker, Hedman, etc. I don't recommend cheap, poor quality pieces, especially on a small-block, because there are only 2 bolts to try and seal the 2 center exhaust ports on each side. Cheap headers have thinner flages, that will bend and leak at that spot. Good luck! And save those old manifolds, lots of folks want them to restore old Chevy's! -Jim.
