Angry Cruse Indicator Lamp

Car is Possesed, here is what is going on,,when I have the cruse control set,the green cruse control indicator light on the dash that used to be on ,is no longer on.
At least not all the time,I will be driving on a trip and all of a sudden it will appear and be on for a while and then go off,all this time it has been set @ 65mph and I havent touched a thing. Cant be a lose bulb or wire because the road is flat.If anyone has an answer please advise .The cruse works fine .

Actually, it can be a loose or broken wire, poor ground, or defective bulb. I suspect a bulb replacement may do the trick.
