Whats better....
just wondering ehat u guys think,
do u think that if like you are a bit fat it is best to strip the fat first nand gain the muscle later then u would get that cut look. Or does working out and cardio have the same effect. Cos like you would always have the fat there if you didnt lose it upfront. |

build muscle first, the fat will help with this it has a lot of nutrients, etc stored in it and you will build muscle faster with it than without it. You should be doing the cardio for the whole time tho, burn it off SLOWLY, if you lose it quick then you wont have much energy and working out will be very hard.

Yeah right, if that was true, fat people wouldn't BE fat...
IMO, you need to lose the fat first, and then work out. |

You will lose fat as a result of working out, well from cardio, working out is fairly anerobic.

nah you need cardio, takes almost 4000 calories to burn off 1 lb of fat, lifting for an hour burns mabe 4-500 if you bust ass/depending on your size, You HAVE to eat right, and you HAVE to do some sort of cardio to lose weight if your metablism isnt naturally high

Why not do it in stages? Lose 1/3 of your target weight, put 2kg back on in muscle, lose another 1/3 etc. Focus on both in stages should give great results.

make sure when your cutting weight keep the protein intake high (1.5g-2g per pound of bodyweight) to eliminate a lot of muscle loss from the get go.

and he said he wants that "cut look" and i've never seen a 275lb guy with a six pack, unless your name is Ron Coleman or Jay Cutler. and i never said you didn't know how to lift.
