Well this is strange but after being a member of this community from mid November 2003 and putting out over 500 posts I have never completed one of the many models that I have gathered. Including a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS, 1998 Toyota Supra, Veilside 300zx, Porsche 959 and a newly acquired Ferrari Enzo. I only seem to find time to tell others how good there stuff is. And blame my own set backs on not having an airbrush yet. Well I am getting sick of it. This xmas I will be getting myself an airbrush and a compressor so that I might farther explore my shale we say poorly used talents. Well enough talk and I will tell you some of this first project in a long awaiting line. My Porsche 959 was starting out as normal when I thought about trying to open the hood for a gas tank. Well it dint work out to good so I took the hood from a Porsche GT1 and put it in its place. I haft to say with some more work and some filling in of the headlight space where I wondered off some it should look smooth as a baby’s ass. And a filled in license plate groove to help aerodynamics. As for other modifications I have and am planning on for this car you will haft to check back. And I am still looking for the perfect color.

You've made a great start here. Body colors usually come to me straight away, it's the interior schemes i tend to have problems choosing.

Look forward to more pics, Mike

Great idea with the hood, looks like it always should have been like that! I know how you feel regarding the colour, so hard to decide.

Re: 959c

Very cool mod to the hood. Looks even more sporty now.

Any color on this car will look awesome. Have you considered a racing livery perhaps? Maybe the decals from the GT1 you borrowed the hood scoops from?

Can't wait to see more.
