have no idea, major problem please help

ok this is so crazy and i hoping you guys can help me out here, when i turn on my ac it comes up saying that my passenger side door is open and as soon as i turn the ac off it goes a way, car is a 2000 ls with a v8, i have no idea what could be causing this and this is all of a sudden and i have no idea where to check, was wondering if any of you guys have ever heard of anything like this and if so what can i do to fix it??????

New to me. Sounds to me like the FEM (front electronics module) has failed. Take it to a Lincoln dealer.

Is he CEL on? You may be able to pull some diag codes from the pcm if so. Electrical/network problems are the hardest problems to solve and the best recommendation I can make is that you take it to a AAA approved FLM repair shop and pay by CC.

If you can pull DTCs from the PCM we might be able to provide better insight but at this level it is too difficult to say.
