Shock/Struts.

My shocks/struts needed to be replaced, so I bought KYB GR2s'. I'm just wondering how is the install and are there any tips?
Thx.

Back shocks are cake, the front struts aren't bad a good impact gun on the bottom two spindle to strut bolts will make life a lot easier.

Get it aligned after cause even if you score the upper strut mount and put it back exactly as it was it usually is still off.

Yup, pneumatic tools always make great stocking stuffers.
You could also try using an 18" Flex T-Handle wrench for $50 at Sears.
Also, check out the recent copy of MMFF. They perform a spring/shock install with pictures and tips.

I forgot on the front struts if you don't have an impact gun to take the top nut off the strut your gonna need to got Sears or equivalent and get a special socket with a slot in the center you'll know what I'm talking bout when you get to it. Only other solution is to cut the nut off cause you always get new one's with the struts but that is a major PITA.
