Progress: 1950 Ford COE
Revells 1950 Ford truck turned into a COE!!!!(cab over engine) Yes I have three projects going, who doesn't? Started this morning and have made great progress in just 4 short hours. This is actually two different kits, thats why there are two body colors. Heres a few pics so far:
Heres the body joined to the fenders, and the stock length chassis: Now here is the shotened chassis with the wheels I will be using, and this is just a mock-up. Paint will be Aqua color: Feedback and comments welcome! OL' DUDE |

Looking good! Although those stock rims don't look to good with it in my opinion.

Re: Progress: 1950 Ford COE
Hey,
I always wanted to do an old coe truck. I really hope this turns out great. And I'm sure it will. Good luck. Keep up the awsome work. Frank X. |

Re: Progress: 1950 Ford COE
That's pretty cool. I'm not too keen on the short wheelbase with the stock bed. Looks more like it should be a flatbed car hauler for your '40.
Good start

Re: Progress: 1950 Ford COE
Cool! I agree with cwmax, though, that short wheel base looks weird (and scary - I wouldn't drive it!) Is it prototypical or custom? Either way, looks awesome. I can't wait to see it come out.

Very cool project!
![]() You HAVE to finish this one. The racers wedge may look cool behind that cab! But it looks cool as a slammer too..

This is going to be sooo cool.
My father has an original 1950 Ford F100 COE with flat bed. Original flathead engine, and funky 2 stage tranny. I'll keep an eye on thie thread.
