Re: trunk opening

first off let me post before all the flames come.
this post is in the wrong section. it should be in the main car modelling section.

secondly, just perusing these forums would give you the answer. *hint: styrene*

Re: trunk opening

Moved to the main forum, where all the general questions belong.
To answer your question, do it any way you can imagine it. As Kasso alludes the best solution would be to build the shape with styrene sheet and fill/shape it with putty. Get some pics of the real area and go at it. Make mistakes, learn from them and with some perseverance you will prevail!

Re: trunk opening

I agree with Phil; I use styrene sheet as much as possible then use putty as needed to finish the job.

Re: trunk opening

Now dont get me wrong, Im not trying to come off as an ass but I most likely will, so I apologize.

Try and be creative, think of ideas on your own. The way things work. Thats what your brain is for, being creative and imaginative. We dont hold all the answers. So instead of posting, try think of ideas yourself. A lot of times they are ingenious and dont require much knowledge. Its also more rewarding to think of ideas yourself instead of asking for the answer. Like I said, instead of posting 80 questions, use your brain, be imaginative, be creative, be different.
