Unhappy low fuel, air bag, gear indicator ligth coming on, no reazon

I have a 98 intrepid with just 33 K miles, two week ago the fuel tank was 3/4 full and the fuel guage drop all the way down and the low fuel light come on, and later comeback to normal operation, the air bag also came on at the same time.

Week after all the guages fail while i was driving (Tach,Speed, fuel) and the back light on the dash comes on, and then goes back to regular operation.

The check engine ligth also comes on at times but the scaner does not recive any codes back.

This happend while i'm driving or nat driving.

Seem to be a loose wire but where to i start looking?

Please Helppppppppp me.

omar, you have one of two things: 1) you are correct on your assumption that you have a loose wire. But to have all the gauges malfunction at one time or another entails that you have a bulkhead connector going from the firewall to the passenger compartment that's loose. If the car was in a front end collision, sometimes, body techs can do a superb job rebuilding the car, but can miss important mechanical or electrical stuff. The other alternative is that you have a faulty instrument cluster. The only way you can tell is that you must go to a Chrysler dealer and let them check for not just engine codes but for communication codes between the Body Control Module and the Instrument Cluster Module. Usually communication codes are classified by the prefix "U" followed by 3 or 4 numbers. First things first, check around the instrument cluster and make sure your wires are in nice and tight going from that to the firewall.
