Re: supra conversion?
Check out robrex on the street build section for a mind blowing conversion (Progress- TRD 3000GT Modified)

Re: supra conversion?
If you want to build the Castrol car ( if that is the Tom's Supra GT?) with engine you can't use the street supra engine at all. The racing machine had a inline four and the other one as you probably know has a inline six. But for a street conversion...no problems to do whatever comes in your mind.

Re: supra conversion?
CJ,
If both kits are Tamiya then you won't have too many problems. I did it. You will have to use the street suspension and body pan. Of course, I couldn't stop there. I had to lower the whole thing three scale inches and that involved re-routing the suspension around the oil pan, etc., etc. If I can figure out how to post picture here I'll do so. Steve. |

As proosen mentioned, to make an acurate represation of a racing model, you need an I-4 engine, 3S-GTE. This engine can be obtained from the Tamiya ST205 Celica GT4 (the one Pman recently completed).
