In Progress - Aoshima Nismo R34GT-R Z-Tune

As we're getting towards winter here in the UK and I can only get any spraying done over the weekend I'm trying to take advantage of any decent weekend weather and get a few things painted before the weather gets worse in terms of temp/humidity - so I sprayed this one up yesterday in Tamiya light gunmetal - still needs clearcoat. I have to say I'm impressed with Aoshima's recent toolings (I appreciate some of the drift cars are based on existing kits but how do they manage to produce so much new stuff compared to other manufacturers ?). This one's going to be out of the box with the kit supplied Nismo decals.
Here's the pics :

As ever, thanks for looking.
Andy

Usual greatness Andy, the front looks a bit low but then again it is only a mock-up is'nt it.

That is a very great Skyline. Is the paint color gun metal or a really dark silver?

Nismo powa! Looking good thus far.

I concur regarding the quality of the recent Aoshima kits. Very friendly straight from the box.

Not a great deal of progress on this one except for polishing out the paint and painting the window trim. I had a slight accident with the Nismo decal on the hood so these are all the decals it's going to be getting.

Thanks for looking
