possibly a cheaper way than 100 bucks off 3sx. Preferrably 10 bucks.

Dont know of any articles but you need some kind of controller. It wouldnt be something that would be easy to fab up unless you have electrical skill.

If it's anything like adjusting every other cars headlights to sleepy eyes then you pull out the fuse for the lifters and then manually screw them down (start with them up) there chould be a little capped off knob on the end of the hydraulic cylinder thing. roate it and apply a little pressure to the top of the Headlamp assembly.

Should work. dunno.

Re: Re: sleepy eyes?

Not the same thing as snake eyes, and not manually adjusting the headlight motor up. It is an adjutment knob type thing that you control from the inside of the car. You dont want to be running around with sleepy eyes 24/7 because you may need more light on the road in certain situations. Besides taking the time to manully crank the lights up and down isnt worth it.

It is f you don't wanna spend the 100 bucks for a controller.
Anyway I wouldnt use sleepy eyes except during the day.
I think you screw up the angle of the beams anyway... (would have to look at the headlights to be sure on that one....

Re: sleepy eyes?

i busted the little twist knob under the hood by the head light and it works all the time unless you put them down. When u put them down it resets and automatically goes back up. as long as you leave them up its good. The lighting is fine, all you have to do is turn a few screws to set it up and you can see all good at night. if only i could do it from the inside tho.
