Needed Info for Camry Radio
What I need to find out whether the stereo from a 98 Camary will have the same hook up as the 97 Camary? I have a CD player for a 98 and I really want to put it in the 97.

I don't believe they are the same. I think Toyota used the generation 3 (1992-1996) radios in the 97 (first year of generation 4) and changed over to a new genaration of radios starting in 98. I would still call Toyota corporate in California at 800-331-4331 and speak to customer service and ask them if it will simply plug in. If you are talking about an add on cd player (not the Toyota 3-in-1 radio for model year 98) it may still be plug and play. Best to check with Toyota first though, to varify rather than just plugging it in and blowing something internal in your exhisting radio. Good luck.
