HELP! Starter wont turn over

I have a 1996 Taurus wagon. I replaced the starter with a new one and it still wont start. Not even any clicking. The battery is fine. Please help!!

Your key ignition may have gone bad.

Could be a bad ground from battery to engine. Run a ground wire from starter directly to battery ground to verify. Had the same issue with a GM station wagon.

I hope you have solved you problem by now. However, probable sources include: faulty cables, bad gound point, faulty ignition switch or a faulty Transmission Range Sensor.
