You may have to join imagestaion but its free. Those were before I installed the intercooler. I'm gonna take some more. Yes I have more zip ties than horsepower.

Re: KA-T pics

I made the downpipe myself.

Foil=UBARJDMTYTE heat shield. It seems to work pretty well. No melted parts.

Re: KA-T pics

if i were to guess what the foil is for is to reduce heat...foil is good at that...

I know that, if you have something wrapped in foil in the oven, you can take it out with your bare hands, but what is it covering?

Re: KA-T pics

The foil covers my brake fluid resovoir, ac hoses and some wire running back there for o2, gauges and such. Some guy in TPR used it on a single turbo 450whp skyline so I figured it would be okay.lol

I had my dad make a flange out of steel where he works. I bought a 2.5 bend from advanced auto parts and then a straight. I had to cut some of the bend off and tack weld it a couple times to get it right. Then I bought a nut from ACE for the O2 bung and welded that in. It was just straight pipe for about a week. I took it to an exhaust shop and had them connect it up on the bottom. I wanted a 3" but they said it was too small of an area to do that.

i would keep my eyes on those pcv's they tend to crack. and that foil is there to prevent the brake fluid from boiling. when i first turboed my car, i ddin't have any heat sheilding at all. so my brake fluid boiled on me, and the pedal would sink to the ground, and the car would not stop. very very scary.

Re: KA-T pics

PVC isn't there too much longer. My next upgrade is a full intercooler kit w/piping. Probably boostdesigns or Greddy.
