We bought a 1988 supra. After getting it home (& opening the door) the alarm went off. Evidently the previous owner forgot to tell us that there is a short in the drivers side door so that when the alarm goes off, u can't use the key to unlock the door and thus shutting off the alarm. We have tried everything, from unlocking the passenger side door with the key to unhooking the battery to reset it. We can't get it to even turn over. It seems to be in the kill mode.
Thanks for anyones help. |

Re: HELP! Alarm in kill mode & can't bypass alarm or turn off.
You could just pull the fuse for the security system, its in the little box by the battery. It worked for my 89.
