Smile 99 Bump-n-clunk fix?

Greetings, I just would like to share that I think that my bump-n-cluck driveshaft problem has gone away...

I bought my 99 Tahoe 4x4 with 54k on it, and since day one it had the bump in the driveshaft at stop and/or accelerate. I did everything that I could find on all the forums, like have the dealership remove the driveshaft and use that special blue grease and slap it back in there, etc. but none fixed the problem.

But a few weeks ago, I was feeling frisky and decided to get my transfer case flushed because I've never dont it since I've owned the vehicle. I had the dealer do it because I fix the computers at the shop- so I get taken care of- but I dont know if they use any special 'GM' fluid. I imagine any place can do it for you. And ever since I havent had any more bumping or clunking. Now I have 80k miles on my truck and I love it more then the day I bought it.

-Mike

I enjoy being able to drive at dusk with just the parking lights on... and I dont want to burn out my PIAA lamps prematurely.

All you have to do is press the "dome override" button 4 times within 6 seconds while the vehicle is running or the key is is the "run" position. This automatically makes all the lights become normal operation. You have to do this everytime the vehicle is turned off and back on.

You cant do this to 96-99ish tahoe's only on the newer body.

bro, all u have to do is barely push down yer PARKING brake pedal till the BRAKE light on yer dash lights up. the parkin brake ain't engaged and yur computer thinks it is. haha, in return you get to run all dark, no lights at all and u can turn em on at the headlight switch back to legal. muahahahaha have fun

Not sure how this turned into a DRL thread -- but just pull the DRL fuse. No button pushing. No having to reset the parking brake after you release it. Leave the fuse in the fuse box cover in case you feel like popping it back in.
