clutch i think
96 sunfire 2.2 a few months ago it started slipping or so i thought
so i figured new clutch was neeed parked the car till i could afford it. got in the car a few weeks ago and it was jsut fine so i drove it around to see if it came back and it did stoped driving it at 20 miles. so what is wrong it didnt lose any fluid, and i didnt even touch it and it was working right for a good while confuses the hell out of me since a bad clutch usualy loses fluid and doesnt get better haha. had an issue a few months before it started slipping where it was stuck in 5th gear if that might have soemthing to o with it. any help is greatly apriciated thnx |

Did you check the fluid level in the master cyclinder before and after sitting ?

yep all fluid levels were toped off a few weeks before it stoped and were still there when it started slipping and after, all but the power steering but that busted a line 2 days before the slipping started.
