Car suspensions
I am doing my final degree thesis in Mechanical Engineering about Car suspensions: simulation and optimization of a Mc Pherson front suspension. Well, I need some draws and photos of a Mc Pherson front suspensión and, also some technical information about controlling semi-active suspensions with multi-setting shock abosrbers. Does anybody knows were to find these things?

go to your school's library and find the SAE Automotive handbook (it is a 3 volume set with the 2nd and 3rd volumes containg more info about automotive systems then anyone should ever know
)These books are HUGE and packed with info. Also see if the have the Bosche Automotive Handbook. It has a good chunk of suspension info though it may be too broad for your needs. Also, look for issues of the SAE Automotive Engineering periodicals. They hold tons of info and give you information on how to get more technical documentation. |

Isn't it spelled MacPherson? After the guy who designed the strut?
