I just bought the Clarion DB345MP car receiver at fry's thanksgiving sale today.
I have no idea how to install it. I asked around and people told me i need to get an installation kit first (which i can probably get a fry's). I also found this website on how to remove the stereo: http://www.carstereoremoval.com/htm/...amry92_96P.htm However, i have to pay to view the webpages. I was wondering if you guys can help me out on installing this device. Thanks. |

Re: Help on 96 Camry Car Receiver Installation
use a flathead to pry out the bottom piece....the one that goes around the cd player and also has the 12-volt socket on the left. Then disconnect that or you can just move it away....and then you'll see 4 screws...unscrew that and based on whether you have both cassette and cd...the whole thing pulls out ...you just unscrew the old cassette/cd player and screw in the new one. You'll need a wireharness adapter ...can get it at circuit city or best buy. The stereo adapter kit....its not necessary. If you have the stock pocket with the lid on the bottom then you can just leave that.
Here is a .pdf file that shows with photos. This should help you out. http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs...PDF/869013.pdf |
