CO2 injections?

I read this thing about co2 injection and was wondering what you guys think about it? Im not really positive on exactly how it works so dont bitch me out just yet, but i think it is a bulb that is in your intake pipe that hooks to a line connected to a co2 tank like at the paintball shops and stuff. When you inject it, it shoots this co2 into this bulb and causes the air passing by the bulb to be colder because of the bulb that has froze and the air to go into the intake manifol is colder. Im not an expert on this but what do you guys think about it???

Re: CO2 injections?

Injecting it wouldnt help since C02 isnt really fond of burning... (used in fire extingushers) and putting it in a bulb in your intake wouldnt cool down shit since air is moving by to quickly (and C02 only cools when expanding... just sitting in a bulb wont cool shit)

Re: CO2 injections?

no clue..... (all that i could think of is cooling teh air as it goes into the intake, cooler air is denser hence more 02....?)
btw it will run out , i know u can use it for the front mout intercooler insted of NO.

I saw a kit where if you line up to race, it'll spray out the side of your car into the other guys intake and fuck up his engine.

Ohhh.... What your talking about is that N.X. Express Intercooler Chiller. It Pretty much covers your intercooler with Dry Ice (C02) and it chills the air way down. It works better than Ice because its colder and wont get you kicked off a track for laying water down. you can make a manual one for 30 bucks though.

Work on your descriptive skills... dizamn.

Re: CO2 injections?

kinda like that, but this one isnt NX and it comes with the adapter to hook it up to your intercooler. But the kit hes selling hooks up through your intake....

Paintball 20oz CO2 Tank 20$.
Screw in tank fitting (found under the Grip on most Cheap guns) 10$

Stop car... walk your ass to the front. Spray. Get in. Haul ass.

Too Inconvinent? go buy a remote tank hose from a paint ball shop (prolly need two since its further away). . aim the hose at intercooler. route hose to cabin. ziptie tank somewhere in reach taadaa!!

Re: CO2 injections?

yeah, it would be easy to make one, but how long do you want it open for? what if you just barely opened it so it had a small constant flow??
