have a 91 dx swappin for a d16y5 engine need to know do i need if i need obd-0 to obd

Whats up need to know what harness i need?I have a 91 dx hatch just baught a d16yz engine i know i need a p28 ecu to run v-tec but what conversion harness do i need cuz madd people are tellin me diff ones.so let me know if you know about this stuff.an if i will need anything else for the swap

what engine did you get exactly? a d16y5, a d16y8, or a d16z6? there is a difference in wiring each one up. either way, the cheap way is to get a pm6 ecu and use a vafc to activate vtec.

i baught a d16y5 engine i baught a p28 ecu an obd1 to obd0 hanress.just wanted to know now whats kinda wiring am i doin under the hood to make this engine run?

just search for "mpfi swap". Now you need to manually wire your car to add the 2 injectors and the extra wires for the crank and cylinder position sensors in your dizzy. It isn't that hard. I've done it like 10 times already.

You will not need the Resitor box if you are using the D16z5 injectors. Is that a vtec motor? Just get a OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harness. It should have the extra connectors for you to run for the O2, vtec, Vtec oil sensor, ect... You will also need to convert to MPFI.

you guyz are gettin mt confused now.LOL this is the last time i will say this i have a 91 dx hatch an i just baught a d16y5 engine yes its v-tec its the e-v-tec engine i baught a p28 ecu an obd-1 to obd-0 conversion harness.just need more advice on this mfi or whatever change
