dr frankesntine

dunno if i spelt that right but any way, ive found myself becoming something of a dr frankenstine. in that i buy kits and pull bits off them to put on other kits.e.g wing mirrors, door hinges, rims, wheels, decals, seats, steering wheels, hand brakes, gear sticks.

is this normal or shud i avoid doing this at all costs
i made a buy in my local model shop last week when they had a bunch of new model beetles on sale at £3 each. i bought this kit purely to update the interior of the 66 beetle i am workin on

Re: dr frankesntine

I think it´s ok, atleast I do this all the time

You can always use the left over parts in some other projects..

I myself consider as one too. Most of the models that were bought had a project tag on it...and I mean it will be an "neverending stories" projects.
