vtec question??

hey guys i have 90 civic hatch with a minime swap but right now the v tec is not working. would it make a big difference when is on?

I have a dohc vtec, I can tell a pretty big difference when it kicks in.

vtec hits harder on DOHC. SOHC its more like an extention of the powerband.

Nothing wrong with that lol. But it does help. People knock VTEC bc they dont understand it. Its like having a hot cam in ur engine that works when you hit a certain RPM, so it saves ur gas.
