Injector Cleaner

[font=times new roman][size=7][b][i]
Is it okay to use injector cleaner during fuel fill up or is that just a waste of time and can it be bad for your motor i have heard a couple different stories about it.
Thank You

What do you mean "thru a shop"? Are talking about taking it to a shop and doing a high pressure purge and detergent cleaning?

Question Confused

[font=times new roman][size=7][b][i]
O.K. now I'm really confused I just needed to know if injector cleaner is good to put in your fuel tank, "STP" "GUNK" stuff like that, does it help or is it just a waste of money.
Thank You
Garry Muir

Re: Injector Cleaner

the one you get done at a shop is worth it, i sold my 96 chevy, but before i did so i took it and got the injector service done and it made my truck sell faster lol, but since the guy is makin payments he said he can get 375 to 400 if he pushes it but when i had it i was lucky to get 375 so ya i think it helped in my thoughts

nope

na i never think that routine maintenance is a waste of money a bottle every 3000m or 5000k will help keep the injector's clean and PREVENT what i call post nasal drip! itstead of a nice atomonized spray it kind of drips out of the dirty or semi clogged injector then at 80k or 50m do a cleaning AT a shop this will ensure top fuel economy of your vehicle.A 2$ bottle wont kill you every 5k , be sure to put it in with full tank of gazzz. once again this is my ! oh and i really fell a difference after a garage cleaning especially if the idle has a slight stumble while in gear at a stop. good luck.
