ok now im trying to get the bolts off all the pullies. the first bolt on the crank pully came off so easy it kinda scared me. the rest of them are on tight enough to make the pullies spin when i put presure on it. any thoughts? and yes i left the belts on and there is no slack.

Re: underdrive pully install

if you have a strap wrench put it on there and hold it with one hand while you loosen the bolts with the other. otherwise, get a big screwdriver and find a way to wedge the balancer so it doesn't move. i forget how i did mine. they were a pain in the ass tho.

Re: underdrive pully install

there's no adjustment, you put it back on the tensioner and it adjusts itself. if the tensioner bottoms out get a new belt.

Re: underdrive pully install

Do you have to worry about the timing when changing those?

I'm sorry,I thought this forum was for MEN who drove real cars. Not for bitches who drove gas saving 4 cylinders around that sound like pissed off weed-eaters!!! Yeah, you may save more on gas than we do...but we make money off of people like you who think they can zip around town like fuckin' Fast and the Furious. So here's a tip, quit bettin' your hard earned money that you make at McDonalds on racing, and then take that extra money you save on gas and buy a real car!!!
