Angry Rattles

[font=times new roman][size=7][b][i]
2000 Silverado 1500 LS Has irritating rattle in the back seat area sounds like it could be the pop out windows or even the fold up seat.
Any Ideas?
Thank You
Garry Muir

Re: Rattles

I have a '99 Silverado. A friend of mine is a mechanic for GMC and the backseat problem is the brackets holding the backseat up against the back of the cab. We had to remove the back seat and insert some rubber trim round the bracket that is mounted to the cab.

Yep its the brackets. Just grab hold of the back of the seat and shimmy and you'll hear the annoying sound.
