no "performance shift" on 2001????

i was just reading some things on www.zzperformance.com and they said that there is no "performance shift" starting 2001. on all the sites selling the pcms they say that on the gtp's it only increses shift points when the "performance shift" is on. so when is the presure increased if there is no switch? thanks
Eric

You just need to add a switch to I think pin 21 on the pcm. Some buy a pre 01 shifter w/ the button and some just wire in a toggle switch.
