I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 LS my problem is that when I start it in the morning or the 1st start of the day it fires right up then if I go to the store I have to crank on it to get it to start I have changed the fuel filter but I still have the problem, but then sometimes it will fire right up. I am getting tired of it, please help! Thank You Garry Muir |

More than likely a fuel pressure regulator. Just had the same problem on mine. Aobut $50 on line and about 3 mins to change. No more problems.

Thanks I have had a few people tell me the same thing so I will try it and let you know how it works. Thanks Garry Muir |

That was exactly the problem, I replaced the part that you were talking about and now the problem is solved.
So thank you for your input. Garry Muir |
