How can I tell if my used 99 LS Blazer is equpped with keyless enty?

I can't find the keyless receiver in mine (99 Blazer LS) I removed the kcik plate, saw a small blue female connector and am wondering if that is where it is supposed to be?

I bought a FOB and followed the instructions to program it and nothing, happened, so I am guessing that I do not have a receiver (the blazer was used when I got and the dealer did not know if it had one).

Can you tell me what the receiver looks like, exactly where it is located and what the connector looks like?
