Lights do not blink when locking doors
My wife hit a deer with our Sonata and since we picked the car up from being repaired the lights do not blink when locking the doors. They do blink when unlocking.
Anyone have any ideas before i take it back to the shop?? Thanks, Dayne |

Re: Lights do not blink when locking doors
check your hood switch open hood and depress it manually now check if ok than check all your door switches the system works like this if it sees a door ,hood or trunk thats not clsed or not closed all the way then it will still lock all the doors just not arm the system if the lights flash when locking the doors then you know your alarm has armed it self(their is a little rubber bumper that attaches to hood tht fully depresses the hood switch the body shop probaly lost it)

That also happened on my Santa Fe with the hood switch. The rubber bump was indented to far and thus the hood swtich was not fully depressed and at times the alarm would no stop from going off and at times the lights would not flash.
