Cooling system

1994 3.0 Just had the heater hoses replaced, cooling system flushed and cleaned, new coolant, and new thermostat installed. Temp needle now raises above half (where it resided before this work) to nearly 2/3 then lowers to about 1/4 then rises to somewhat over 1/2 then settles to just below 1/2 but continues to fluctuate some. This is all new. Air in the system? Thanks

maybe a new temp sensor. check the wire to your sensor, follow it, look for bad spots

Check the fan. Is it turning on when it is suppose to?
