hi,
i just found neuspeed struts (made by koni) on ebay for 500 usd. the application number is either 8041.1152SP3 or 8041.1240SP3. is this as good as koni yellow? what are the differences? i'm looking to be used with neuspeed race. with this, will it still be bounchy?

Re: neuspeed koni

These are Koni Yellows but with 5 perch system unlike the Koni that has 3. Everything is the same.

And for the bounce, the Koni yellows are one of the stiffest shocks, so they will function well with you race springs. I guess you like it rough, because with race springs you are going be shaking alot!

The Nuespeed spec Koni Yellows also have a 20mm shorter shaft besides having a 5-way adjustable perch versus the standard 3 way. I think there might be another difference too but I'd have to look. Anyways, these (Nuespeed Spec Koni Yellows) are the shocks I run with my very stiff custom rate Ground Controls. Koni yellows are some of the best shocks out there, and are one of the only shocks capible of handling drops of more than 1.75". The valving is quite aggressive, and they can handle spring rates well above what we would throw at them (upwards of 800lbs/inch) before Koni recommends sending them in to be re-valved and made double adjustable. You can tell it's a Nuespeed spec Koni sport (yellow) because it will have the "SP3" after the part number instead of the word "sport."
