1994 grand am smoking
my grand am while trying to start it, started smoking and had a burning smell. I raised the hood and smoke was coming from under the engine. now it wont let me turn the key or take it out of gear. I have the 2.4 engine. any help would be appreciated.

Is it auto or stick and was there a liquid under the car?
