Dash light problems
I recently bought a 94 Wrangler and have encountered my first problem. My dash lights wont turn on. I checked the fuse (10amp) and it was blown so I replaced it with another 10amp. It blew within about 2 min. Since I dont have an owners manual could anybody tell me if this is the right size fuse? It seems a little low to me. If its alredy the right size, does anybody know what else could be causing this?

Re: Dash light problems
most likely a short, if you have an aftermarket stereo, I'd start looking right there

My stereo has its own circuit, the previous owner had a big setup including about 4 woofers, a sub, and an amp. Thats not to say that he didnt mess up and pinch one of my other wires.....

Re: Dash light problems
I had this same problem. It drove me crazy for months, until a mech from a local Jeep dealer took a look at it. It turned out to be the fuse box itself. Mopar did a poor job on the design of this thing, and moisture will play hell with it. I ended up having to bypass the fuse box all together, and use a in-line fuse to solve the problem. The mech who looked at mine said the entire fuse box will fail some time down the road.
