Pulling codes
I recently bought a code puller for my 1990 Taurus (3.0 non SHO) and I can't find where to plug it in, in the engine bay, so if anyone knows where the connecter is I would appricate any help you could offer, also the book speaks of a "possible" second small connector, does my car have this as well? Thanks

Look under the dash, drivers side. There should be a covered connector approxamittly in line with the steering colume. Uncover it if it still has its cover and plug in.

It's under the dash on 96 and newer. It's OBDII
Before 96 it is OBDI I never had a 90 but on a 94 it is under the hood on the passenger side. It has a cover over it and is located on the firewall. Mike

Well, if it's under he hood I have never seen it there on any of my vehecles. I have a 92 GM (and others) and it's under the dash where I discribed. Do you have a manual on the car, I know that will tell you where it is. If you have an autozone in your neighborhood, they can tell you.
I'm sorry that I couldn't help you. Good luck. |
