Be sure to keep pushing on. Associate degrees aren't worth much anymore.

ive actualy been in the field since april first. for now im thinking i will go to the local community college and take a few fun classes and some general ed classes. im thinking automotive, welding, math and english. then im gong to enrol at ASU for a mechanical engineering degree. since i gradumacated from ITT almost none of the credits transfer anywhere else.
so the bachelors is almost like starting over again. except i already have a good paying job that is realy flexible around school. i might even be able to sucker the owners into helping with my tuition.

Yeah, I got's me a degree from ITT, and it's worth almost as much as the paper it's printed on... of course that was for the electronics engineering technology program, but still... ITT is not an acredited school, and it costs (usually) around 10 times (yes, 10 TIMES) as much as a community college program of the same study. And I can't speak for other ITT campuses, but ours sucked ass. It was poorly equipped, understaffed, and way too small. The only worthwhile instructors for the EET program were retired military, because they all had a pension already, so the fact that they get paid absolutely dick didn't matter so much. So, the school could never keep any decent instructors there because they were grossly underpaid since most of the tuition went to the recruiters and such... fuck I'm bitter.
