180K miles, engine replaced at 140K, have had intermittent battery drain since then (now constant drain!). Have isolate it to EEC 30 amp maxi fuse (3rd from front on passenger side under hood). When I pull the fuse....no more drain. When I install the fuse, you can hear the fuel pump come on until it comes up to pressure and it stays on for continual battery drain. I have replaced the EEC relay to no avail. I cannot discern where problem might be from looking at wiring diagram.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help!!! |

I had this problem with my 91 explorer, you could turn it off but the fuel pump stays running, just pop the hood and give the power distribution fuse box a couple good whacks, it'll shut that pump right off
